An exciting opportunity to join one of the fastest growing, privately owned, building maintenance and facilities management support services companies in the UK. Due to the expanding growth of the company, they are looking to expand the team with a skilled and experienced Estimator on a permanent basis. Previous estimating within fitout is desirable.

We are looking for a confident and dynamic individual with extensive knowledge and abilities within Estimating including the preparation of Bids, Proposals, Cost Plans, Budgets, and detailed bottom-up estimates.

Role & Responsibilities

• You will be responsible for preparation of tenders, carrying out a site inspection and prepare of pre-qualification documents
• Request RFQ’s and review supply chain costs
• Preparing priced document / bill of quantities
• You will engage with stakeholders, internal and external customers to ensure that estimates meet the project need and are compliant
• Update and maintain tender registers with projects won / lost and providing general assistance as needed.

Qualifications & Experience

• Experience working within the Fitout and Construction Sector
• Previous experience of Cost Estimating, Cost & data Analysis and Cost Assurance (an advantage but not essential)
• Need to have a good knowledge of Excel Spreadsheets
• Display an analytic approach to problem- solving
• Self-motivated and enthusiastic
• Ability to multitask and priorities workload
• Able to work under pressure on multiple projects
